It’s difficult for most people to wrap their heads around the idea that vaccines, long held up as one of the cornerstones of public health, might actually be doing harm. Even the vast majority of medical professionals have never taken the time to fully understand what’s inside a vaccine vial. They assume safety and efficacy because that’s what they were taught in medical school, not because they’ve read the studies or questioned the system. In truth, many would be shocked to discover that there’s no comprehensive safety study of the full childhood vaccine schedule, which now includes 72 doses. Actor and comedian Rob Schneider recently took that message public, daring Dr. Anthony Fauci and former CDC Director Rochelle Walensky to take all 72 shots on stage if they truly believe in their safety. His challenge was direct: if these vaccines are as harmless as claimed, then take them, live, in front of the world. Schneider didn’t stop there. He criticised the 1986 Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, which granted vaccine manufacturers immunity from lawsuits and essentially removed any legal accountability for harm. He called out the increasing number of shots given to children, contrasting the three he received as a child with the overwhelming schedule in place today. With a sobering reminder that vaccines are “unavoidably unsafe,” Schneider’s words echo a growing sentiment that questioning the narrative isn’t just reasonable, it’s necessary.
I remember my grandmother clearly, how she used to scold my mother for letting us get vaccinated. She was steadfast in her refusal to ever set foot in a medical facility or take any form of modern medicine. She lived to 95. At 85, she had a stroke and refused any treatment. At 90, she developed cauda equina syndrome from a slipped disc, again declining all medical intervention. Somehow, by the time she passed, she had regained her bladder and bowel function. She was never vaccinated. For most of my life, I couldn’t understand her deep mistrust of allopathic medicine. It seemed extreme. But a few years ago, while researching HIV/AIDS, I came across the work of Ralph Baric, and suddenly, things started to make sense. There’s a strange, gut-wrenching moment when you begin to realize you’ve been lied to your entire life. That the systems you thought were built to protect you might not be what they seem. That you might be living on a death colony without even knowing it.
