RFK Jr., as Health Secretary, is working to fix the health system and Make America Healthy Again. On Fox News, Dr. Nicole Saphier spoke openly about the false information spread during COVID. She said the public was told to “trust the experts,” but many of those experts gave bad advice and ignored facts. That wasn’t science, it was control.
She said real science changes when new data comes in. But during COVID, public health leaders like Rochelle Walensky didn’t update their guidance. They stuck to old rules, like keeping schools closed over faulty 6-foot distancing, even when new research showed it wasn’t needed. Early studies from Stanford and Miami showed COVID was less deadly than people were told, but the CDC didn’t change its approach. They kept pushing the idea that vaccines would stop the virus, even after vaccinated people in Provincetown still got sick.
Dr. Saphier admitted that some early mistakes were made, like wiping down packages, but she said it’s important to learn and move on. Many experts didn’t, they just repeated the same messages, even when the facts changed. She also said that science funded by big companies often hides risks and twists results to protect profits.
Experts should never be trusted blindly, as they are not always right. They can be wrong, biased, or even paid to say certain things. During COVID, many experts stuck to a script that helped the government or drug companies, not the people. Some were more focused on politics or power than on health. That’s why it’s dangerous to treat experts like they’re always right or beyond question.
They made Science a religion, and it is not, and shouldn’t be. Science is not something to “believe in” without question. It’s a method, a way to ask questions, test ideas, and change course when new facts appear. But during COVID, science was treated like a set of rules that couldn’t be questioned. That’s not how real science works. When science is funded by big money, it can be twisted to fit an agenda. That’s why it’s important to keep science open, honest, and independent from government and corporate control.
