All Best Are Off, All Gloves Are Off

This latest escalation is no longer a simple conflict between Ukraine and Russia. What we are seeing is a full-scale NATO war on Russia, with Ukraine as little more than a disposable pawn in a much larger game. The recent strikes deep inside Russian territory, hitting strategic bombers, rail lines, airfields, and bridges, were not the actions of Ukraine acting on its own. These operations have been coordinated, funded, and authorized by NATO. The West is pulling the trigger.
This changes everything. The war is no longer confined to Ukrainian soil or the immediate border regions. By allowing and enabling Ukraine to strike inside Russia, NATO is directly involving itself in combat operations. It is no longer a distant supporter or an arms supplier. It is a participant, making Moscow view every attack as a direct threat from the West. The Russian government has no choice but to respond in kind.
The risk here is enormous. As NATO pushes its attacks deeper into Russia, it drags its own cities and people closer to potential retaliation. Russia is not a country that will tolerate missile strikes, drone attacks, or sabotage on its territory without striking back. This is not just military logic, it is a matter of national survival for Moscow. The idea that this conflict will remain one-sided forever is dangerously naive.
NATO’s strategy may be to wear Russia down through proxy warfare, using Ukraine as a shield to avoid direct confrontation. But this approach has its limits. As the front lines move closer to Russian heartlands, the likelihood of direct Russian retaliation against NATO countries grows. This will escalate the conflict beyond Ukraine’s borders, making it a true war between nuclear-armed powers.

There is no middle ground here. The West’s involvement means that Ukraine is no longer fighting alone, and Russia will not allow that to continue without consequence. Every strike on Russian soil authorised by NATO risks pulling the world into a wider and more dangerous war. This is the harsh reality that global leaders and strategists must face without sugarcoating or evasion.
Ukraine is being used, its land and people sacrificed to serve NATO’s geopolitical aims. The West’s military support is not about defending Ukraine’s sovereignty alone; it is about containing Russia and breaking its power. The result is a conflict that has already crossed red lines and shows no signs of backing down. NATO’s gamble is dangerous, and the consequences will be felt far beyond the battlefield in Ukraine.
