It was only a matter of time before they tried something this absurd. Ursula von der Leyen, with a straight face, claimed that the illegal immigration crisis plaguing Europe is now somehow Vladimir Putin’s fault. As if this vast and complex disaster, created through years of deliberate policy choices, can be explained away by pointing east. Not once did she mention the deliberate erosion of national borders, the failed NATO wars that left countries in ruins, or the reckless decisions taken by EU technocrats operating miles above the will of their citizens. No, apparently all of that was irrelevant and it is all Russia now, the insanity is staggering.

This sort of blame-shifting is beyond dishonest, I mean, this is openly contemptuous. These people must truly believe they are speaking to an audience that is too old, too distracted, or too digitally illiterate to notice the contradictions piling up in plain sight. They act as if nobody remembers how this crisis began. As if nobody knows that hundreds of thousands arrived in Europe from North Africa and the Middle East long before Russia’s conflict with Ukraine even began. As if people cannot connect the timeline of Western military interventions with the surge in refugees flooding into Europe’s cities.

We are not dealing with well-meaning incompetents. We are dealing with individuals who destroyed Libya under the false banner of humanitarianism, armed jihadist factions with full knowledge of their ideologies, and watched as Europe bore the consequences. They claim to be shocked at the results of their actions, yet they never show regret. They never accept blame. When it all goes wrong, they simply change the story.

What von der Leyen is doing now is nothing new and it is just the latest version of the same tired narrative. When the truth becomes too difficult to hide, when public opinion turns, they roll out a new scapegoat. In 2025, it is Putin. Next year, perhaps it will be the weather. But it will never be the unelected officials in Brussels, nor be it the architects of regime change. It will certainly never be those who signed off on the chaos from the comfort of air-conditioned offices.

What is astonishing is the ease with which this propaganda is presented, often in tones of moral superiority. This stuff just pops up, something that is never discussed as strategy, as political expediency, or as failure. You simply notice it is always cloaked in the language of freedom, security, and unity. The same tired vocabulary we’ve heard since the bombs first fell on Baghdad, Tripoli, and Damascus.

And yet, we are supposed to believe that this crisis emerged from nowhere, as if there had been no Arab Spring, no European complicity, no Soros-backed campaigns for open borders. Are we really expected to believe that desperate men crossing the Mediterranean on rubber dinghies are fleeing Putin’s Russia, and not the vacuum created by Western interventions? Are we so gullible as to forget the deals made behind closed doors, the payoffs to Turkey, the silence bought from African regimes, the NGOs operating without oversight?

To call this narrative absurd is an understatement. It is a calculated insult. The same people who built this disaster now claim to be its victims. They are selling peace while preparing for more conflict. They are speaking of democracy while governing without consent. They are accusing others of disinformation while spinning a lie so transparent it barely deserves the word fiction.

And yet, the worst part is not that they lie, it’s like, they assume you are too stupid to notice, yah, like real dumb.

Just watch the crazy reaction from some Ukrainians immigrants to the proposed changes in Poland that is deeply troubling, not only because of the threats of violence but because it exposes the growing entitlement culture that has taken root. When a foreign population begins threatening to burn homes unless free money continues to flow, we are no longer discussing a humanitarian crisis but something far more dangerous.

Poland, a country that opened its borders in good faith, is now being repaid with arson threats and unrest, simply for requiring basic integration and legal compliance. The 800+ program was never meant to become a hostage mechanism used by outsiders to demand permanent subsidies. Yet here we are, watching a supposedly grateful refugee population resort to intimidation when asked to follow the same rules as Poles.
